Action Takers Group type 1.. Volunteer Befrienders, to visit vulnerable groups or individuals in their homes and advise on security measures, be a shoulder for them to air their concerns and to be a point of contact in an emergency or serious problem arising, also every now and again take a pager to be on call for 24 hours. Group type 2.. Volunteer Organiser, to organise different events from fund raising to leaflet drops. Group type 3.. Volunteer Spokesperson / Official, to be the voice of a chosen area and liaison with PWT and the authorities. Group type 4.. Volunteer Predator Visitor and Liaison, to visit predators, bringing them up to speed about who we are and what we do, and explain how we are keeping an eye on their actions. Volunteers with a strong nature who are able to stand there ground and deliver the facts with confidence will be needed to fill this position. Two volunteers are required to make visits to a predator, this is for safety and so that there are 2 opinions. A report will need to be made about the predators state of mind, what their plans are, how they are feeling with reference to their particular crimes. For instance, if they are sex offenders, are they intending to re-offend, can they help themselves when they do attack someone, how do they try to stop themselves. Also a photo will need to be taken so as to inform and warn the locals of who and what the predator is capable of by having leaflets delivered around the predators local area. As Predator Watch gets better known and financed we will be making 'Group Type 4' a paid position.
