Decision Making All decisions that PWT make depend on the risk involved to the general public, we take into account the possibility of someone being abused, or worse! if we need to act quickly, we will, and do our absolute best to protect people. We are not crazy vigilantes, we are professional and responsible people and all we want is to see justice done and protect people. We have to protect our organisation at all costs, there are predators who want to stop our organization in its tracks, after all we are out to ruin their sad way of life. Anonymity is paramount for us to do our work effectively and without being recognised, this doesn't mean we are locked in a room with no windows, we are protecting our homes and families and so won't be revealing our names or locations. Obviously there are times when we get out and about visiting members from around the UK, we just want to be careful not to give details to the wrong crowd, it could have catastrophic affects and hinder the protection of Vulnerable people. If you are a TV company, Newspaper reporter, or journalist of any type and you want to make contact for any reason or if you require a meeting, please go through our 'Contact Us' page with your contact details and why you want to meet us and we will get back to you. Our actions are obviously going to be under serious scrutiny from the Police, we will do our best to do every thing to the letter of the law and where possible, with the help of the police we will help prosecute perpetrates of these crimes. It would be naive and misleading for me to say that everything will always be straight forward, we are working with the sickest, lowest and most devious element of our society so things won't always be plain sailing. In severe cases when a predictor is looking for his prey we may have to go that step further to protect someone from serious abuse, who wouldn't! This subject in the eyes of the law is a real barrel of worms, we are in a society that would prosecute PWT for pulling a rapist off his victim and accidentally hurting him in the process! And its this mentality that we are up against, I am desperate to know the answer to these questions. Why are there people who think predators have rights? Is it just politicians? Is it social workers? Who is it? Maybe its human rights activists? Please give me your opinion and fill in the blanks, We need to know these answers to deal with the core of the problem, and Its a big problem and one that will not be resolved easily with our antiquated laws but we have to start somewhere. What we will say is this.. "The team and its volunteers of Predator Watch will do its absolute best to work to the guidelines of the law, however, our main concern is the safety of our societies vulnerable. All situation will be treat in a calm and responsible way, the problem is we cannot possibly be responsibly for the actions or reactions of a predator when confronted. And if we are attacked then we have the right to stand up and protect ourselves, but the main thing being, we have an obligation to all the targeted citizens of our society to stop a predator from wrecking someone's life." One thing that is important to us; In the event of a PWT member or anyone involved with PWT being assaulted by a predator, then as a result the matter will be dealt with in relation to its severity in house, or if necessary as a police matter. We will not discuss or pass on this information through our web site. This whole subject will not be discussed with anyone out side of the Predator Watch Team, so please don't write in and ask us anything about the way things are dealt with either actually or hypothetically, we will not reply." You will be updated regularly about the predators we visit and how we managed the situation and what the end results were. |
